The Neocatechumenal Way has celebrated the \n anniversary of its 40 years of life in Berlin on Saturday, June 9, 2018. \nToday, Sunday 10, the book \u201cAnnotations\u201d by the \ninitiator and international manager of the Neocatechumenal Way, Kiko Arg\u00fcello<\/strong>, was presented as well as \n the prestigious Philharmonic at 8 pm (local time) \nthe Symphonic-Catechetical Celebration “The Suffering of the Innocents”.<\/p>\n\n

The Cardinal Vatican Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin<\/strong>, has sent a message on behalf of Pope Francis<\/strong> on the occasion of this event. <\/p>\n\n

To His Most Reverend ExcellencyMons. Dr. Heiner KochArchbishop of Berlin<\/p>\n\n

Pope Francis has welcomed \n the news of the performance of the symphony \u201cThe suffering of \ninnocents \u201dby Kiko Arg\u00fcello, which will take place in Berlin, and greets \nall those who have come to this event to the \nBerliner Philharmonie (Berlin Philharmonic). Rooted in tradition and inspired by \nBiblical lamentation, this symphony commemorates the many \nvictims of the Shoah.<\/p>\n\n

The memory of the Shoah and its atrocious \nviolence must never be forgotten. It should \nbe a constant warning for all of us \nof an obligation to reconciliation, of reciprocal comprehension and love \ntoward our \u2018elder brothers\u2019, the Jews, and at the same time in a \nlife dedicated to the suffering, the needy, and everyone \n who longs for salvation. <\/p>\n\n

The Holy Father unites himself in this intent and from his heart invokes on all present the blessing of the merciful God.<\/p>\n\n
