(Noord-, Midden-&#013;\nen Zuid-Amerika), samen met hun vormers en itinerante catechisten uit hun&#013;\nrespectievelijke landen, namen vanochtend deel aan de algemene audi\u00ebntie bij paus&#013;\nLeo na hun terugkeer van een missie naar Italiaanse parochies, waar zij het Evangelie&#013;\nverkondigden zonder reistas, zonder geld en zonder mobiele telefoon.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tijdens zijn catechese sprak de paus over de apostolische constitutie <em>Sacrosanctum Concilium<\/em> over de liturgie van het Tweede Vaticaans Concilie en riep hij de<br \/>christenen op de eucharistie ten volle te beleven door een goede voorbereiding en<br \/>door zich de volle rijkdom van Gods Woord eigen te maken, dankzij de na het<br \/>Concilie opgestelde lectionaria.<br \/>Aan het einde van de audi\u00ebntie richtte de paus zich met de volgende woorden tot de<br \/>priesters:<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"--nck-hueco:30px;height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" Neocatechumenale Weg, die uit verschillende&#013;\nlanden afkomstig zijn, van harte welkom: ik hoop dat de dagelijkse viering van&#013;\nhet eucharistisch offer voor u een bron van kracht zal zijn in class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voordat ze aan hun missie begonnen, ontmoetten de priesters Kiko Arg\u00fcello in de \u2018Tent van de&#013;\nOntmoeting\u2019 in Porto San Giorgio; daar moedigde hij hen aan om van stad naar stad&#013;\nte trekken en Christus te verkondigen:<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWanneer jullie het Kerygma verkondigen, kondigen jullie aan dat de&#013;\ngoddelijke natuur, zoals geopenbaard in Christus, inhoudt dat God de mensheid&#013;\noneindig liefheeft \u2013 zelfs als de mensen slecht zijn \u2013 en deel wil uitmaken van&#013;\nhun leven. Als iemand dit door een goddelijk wonder gelooft, kan God in hem&#013;\nwonen! God wil in hen zijn, maar Hij kan dat niet zonder de vrije wil van die&#013;\npersoon; de enige manier is door het hen te vragen. Daarom heeft Hij ervoor&#013;\ngekozen de wereld te redden door de dwaasheid van de verkondiging, door het&#013;\nKerygma. Er is niets groters dan het Evangelie verkondigen, en daarom zeggen&#013;\nwij met de heilige Paulus: \u2018Wee mij als ik het Evangelie niet verkondig!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<div style=\"--nck-hueco:30px;height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verwijzend naar de woorden van Jezus Christus toen Hij de apostelen twee aan twee uitzond om het Koninkrijk van God te verkondigen \u201cWie jullie ontvangt, ontvangt&#013;\nMij\u201d herinnerde Kiko de priesters aan de begintijd van de Weg: \u201cGod is het die deze dingen doet; God wilde dat iemand ons zou ontvangen. Hij leidde de aartsbisschop van Madrid, mgr. Casimiro Morcillo, naar de&#013;\nsloppenwijken en bracht ons vervolgens naar de parochies. God leidde pater&#013;\nDino Torregiani \u2013 stichter van de Dienaars van de Kerk \u2013 ertoe de catechese in&#013;\n\u00c1vila bij te wonen en ons uit te nodigen om in Rome te komen prediken.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Geconfronteerd met de ontmoediging van zoveel priesters \u2013 als gevolg van de&#013;\ngeloofscrisis, de bijna lege parochies en het gebrek aan roepingen \u2013 zei Kiko tegen&#013;\nhen: \u201cWij willen deze nieuwe wind, dit charisma voor de christelijke initiatie, naar&#013;\nde gehele Kerk in Itali\u00eb brengen. Het is een geschenk van de Heilige Geest aan&#013;\nde Kerk om haar te helpen. Veel heilige priesters lijden vandaag de dag onder&#013;\nde ontkerstening die momenteel plaatsvindt.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"--nck-hueco:30px;height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" keerde gelukkig terug van de missie; ze waren getuige geweest van&#013;\nwonderen die ze zich niet eens hadden kunnen voorstellen en hadden troost gebracht aan de vele pastoors die hen hadden ontvangen. Na deelname aan de pauselijke audi\u00ebntie sloten de priesters deze missiedagen af met een vreugdevolle&#013;\neucharistieviering aan het Cathedra-altaar in de Sint-Pietersbasiliek, ter viering van&#013;\nhet hoogfeest van de heilige Johannes de Doper. Vervolgens keerden ze terug naar het Neocatechumenale Centrum in Porto San Giorgio, waar ze tot zondag bijeenkwamen met Kiko Arg\u00fcello; maar voordat ze terugkeerden naar hun parochies in diverse landen in Noord- en Zuid-Amerika, bezochten ze het Heilige Huis van Loreto, waar ze de eucharistie vierden en hun missie toevertrouwden aan de Heilige Maagd Maria.<\/p>\n\n<div
