Immediately after the readings and the homily delivered by the Pope, the rite of the blessing of the water and the Baptism of 29 catechumens from different countries took place … The entire community of the faithful have been invited to renew and reconfirm their own faith, at the moment when the new brothers were going to the altar to receive the sacraments of Christian initiation. In the front row were 100 members of the Neocatechumenal Communities of the parish of St. Francesca Cabrini in their white robes, accompanied by Kiko Argüello and Carmen Hernández, to renew their own baptismal promises.
