Murcia, 08/24/2018.- The next Sunday, August 26, the Neocatechumenal Way will celebrate in the Murcian town of San Pedro del Pinatar, a vocational meeting in which at least 25,000 young people from Spain and Portugal are expected, but also from countries like France and Austria.
The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m., will be presided by the Bishop of Cartagena, Mgr. Mr.José Manuel Lorca Planes, and will be guided by the initiator of the Camino Kiko Argüello, and by the rest of the international team made up of María Ascensión Romeroand Fr. Mario Pezzi.
Kiko Argüello will make the announcement of the Kerigma (the Good News of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ), and at the end of it he will ask for vocations to the priesthood, consecrated life and the mission.
This meeting in San Pedro del Pinatar will take place a few days after the one held in Rome at the Circus Maximus, after the vigil of Pope Francis with the young Italians as the culmination of a great pilgrimage organized by the Italian Episcopal Conference under the motto “On a thousand roads, towards Rome”.
In this meeting, more than 200 boys and so many other girls volunteered for the priesthood and religious life, respectively, and some 70 families for the mission.
It was presided by the Pope’s vicar for the diocese of Rome, Cardinal Angelo De Donatis.
