Dear brothers and sisters,

It is a great grace for me to be in contact with you through these lines.

You know already the situation of the Coronavirus, that does not let us gather for the Easter announcement, in a big assembly; Thus, in this Lent I will do it by letter as I have done in the first years of the Way. As you can see, what I have said in my Christmas greeting is being fulfilled: that 2020 would have been a providential year.

The events that are surrounding us calls us to turn to the Lord with strength and with love. To love Christ is the only truth, the rest is vanity – says the Fathers. To love Christ is the expression of the love for the brothers, for this the Christian Community is a perennial sign of salvation.

Courage! We are united to all of you, following the words of Christ, “Love one another as I have loved you.”

In the hope that you pray for me, for Fr. Mario and Ascencion, I wish you a serious preparation for Easter.
